Default Black'n Out My Wide Glide

Ok, so it's been a while since I've posted, and honestly have been missin it. Here we go, though. I've gotta 05 Wide Glide, which is hard nuff to find black out parts for, which I've got almost all of it found now, just gotta purchase. The two things i can't find, battery and electrical covers. Anyone have any ideas?? I don't really wanna paint'em but if that's what it takes, I will......

Thanks ya'll!!

+1 on the Plasti-dip. You could go flat or gloss and if you grow tired of it, peel it off and you have the stock look again.

+1 for powder! Getting to be a rare bike. Do it right the first time.

If it is getting to be such a rare bike all the more reason to Plasti-dip rather than powder coat. Most "rare" vehicles are worth the most $ when they are in original condition. Plasti-dip allows you to protect and maintain the original condition underneath the coating. In case you ever grow tired of the blacked out look or want to return it to it's original condition simply peel it off. Powder coating eliminates the ability to ever go back to the original finish/condition.
The 2005 FXDX Super Glide Sport was blacked out all over. Maybe the battery box and electrical covers are interchangeable, idk??? They look the same to me.

I would go with powder, and if you have any doubts about keeping it black, then see if you can find replacement covers, and have them powdered, and keep the originals.
