Default 06-14 Patriot Defender exhaust

Anyone have this? From the pics on their website it looks difficult, if not impossible to check the oil.

Call me crazy, but I am not going to buy a exhaust that will not have access to the motor oil dipstick. Even if I never checked it, I wouldn't want to remove exhaust to add oil when changing. Is that the case with these pipes?

The Sporty guys are not so enamored with the ground clearance....or lack there of. Is it the same with the Dyna version?

It'll scrape some. But, I don't ride like an old man and it's not a problem for me. Flying through the Dragon might be a problem though.

I have this on my 08 FatBob and I can check the oil but the stock dipstick does hit it a little when 1st screwing in or the last couple threads on the way out. Also I haven't scraped with the stock rear shocks. This is year 2 and I have about 7000 miles on this exhaust.

I emailed them about fitment on a 2012.
They told me I would have to drop the pipes down to check the oil.
I don't know the year break, but '06 and '12 have the dipstick in different locations.
