Default Recommend me a new front tire

My front end checked out good on my WG. Shop thinks the Perilli Route66 80/90 tire i have is bad or out of round. This is the new tire the PO gave me to put on the bike when i bought it and after doing some looking it must be the cheapest rubber you can buy for the bike. Im a believer in you get what you pay for so maybe a good tire will resolve my front end wobble. Just installed a new front motor mount and the vibration is much better but still get a bouncy wobble in front end at low speed. Shop says front end is tight and everything checks out on it. Oh this is a private shop not a dealer.

So my top choices would be to go with a factory dunlop like what came on it new. Guy at shop highly recommended a Michelin Commander front tire. Im a big Michelin fan but no experience with their motorcycle tires. He can get me one for 120 bucks even. Im willing to pay that if they produce good results. I just want a good riding smooth tire....im not into flying around curves and what knot. This is my laid back sunday cruiser

Also i read a little about using a 90/90 tire. Just a little wider? whats the advantage

Metzeler 880's have been good for me. Been using them for about 8 years or more. Next front and rear change , thinking about the 888's

+1 on the Commander. I have a little over 5K on mine & have no complaints. They are as comfortable as the OE Michelin Scorchers they replaced, handle well, and still have a lot of tread remaining. I've logged quite a few miles on them in the rain, and haven't had any issues with them on wet roads.

MICH comm.II is fine as far as wear and ride, just leave alot of room ahead of you when in the rain! Ask me how I found that out?!

Pirelli Night Dragon are great tires but the soft compound makes for a short life. I mounted a mcII on front about 2k ago and really liking the handling compared to the scorcher I was running. Bike corners like its on rails
