As the title says, I want to put some aftermarket turn signals on the front of my 2012 FXDC. the ones I want are made by Drag Specilaties, they are dual filament bulbs, 2 wire. My stock lights are 3 wire. I assume one is ground. Curious if the 2 wire lights will work or will they throw BCM codes. Do I need a load equalizer ?
Anyone who has done this enlighten me.

Those arn't LED so load equalizers are not needed.

Have you received the lights yet, or are you going by the picture? To actually use the dual filament, those would need to be 3 wire like your stock. See if you can contact them and ask. Might just be a generic photo for them.

Ya, double check. most all new dual filament lights are 3 wire. Run, turn, ground. If these ARE dual filament, then they're self grounding (no wire needed). Run, turn wires only.

 

For those following along, Drag Spec got back with me. The 2 filament lights are 2 wire. Back to the google for a small bullet for my front turn signals with smoked lenses that won't break the bank.

 

1 wire running, other is turn. Self grounding light.
