Need some assistance with RACETECH spring install
Whats up guys, I installed my racetech springs and they were great for about 1000 miles or so, then on a long ride I blew a seal, so i bought a new seal kit, and started the process of reinstalling them....but i cant find the instructions either...womp womp. I dont know exactly what fluid level i should have, and im going to redo the spacers so they are a tad longer. Does any one have them? its for part FRSP S4435P20 on a 2011 fxdb? Any help would be tremendous! Racetech is closed on the weekends, and their website is about as helpful as a fart in a whirlwind. Thanks in advance

As far as the oil level, just use what the factory manual states. I believe for my 2011 superglide it is 3.74" from the top with the forks compressed. When your replace your springs with aftermarket, you have to set up the sag. 1.50 sag would get you in the ballpark. What fork oil are you using? What was your sag and oil level when you initially did the install?
Upgrading your suspension is not just plug and play. It has to be fine tuned for your bike and your weight. Just throwing parts in and hoping for the best will not get good results and will be a waste of money.
A good place to start is with the shop manuel. Do you have one?
PS. what city are you in?

I just had mine apart again today.
I set the gold valve at 2.5 turns, changed from PJ1 10w to Spectro 15w, 3.74 from the top, compressed and bled.
I went to Home Depot and got a 2' piece of 1 1/2 PVC pipe for spacers, cut to 7"- the tiny aluminum spacer material RT gives you sucks.
Make sure the aluminum adapter and gold valve are square on the seat pipe.
Good luck
