Default Scrapped my pipe today.

The RSD Slants got some new beauty marks. Out for a ride with the gf today when had a bit of a scare. She was on her GSXR, and I was chasing her through a nice section of twisties. Was about halfway through a nice right hand twist, and then SCRAPE. I really didn't think I was that hard into it. Guess I was having to much fun. Ready for another round tomorrow.

No such thing as too much fun, plus I think it gives it character.

Oh yea that's how you ride them have flat spots on both the exhaust and primary cover, Well on the one i have now, The other worn through allready. I made a set of wear pads that mount where the mid controls mount. There cheaper to replace.

i was riding last weekend thinking that all the folks that scrape their pipes must ride harder than me and that my new bassani was gonna be fine, then i got off and noticed some black missing from the bottom and chuckled!

I normally ride it like I stole it, but I try to be a little conscientious of my turns. So I'm not scrapping up my new bike...yet. Totally lost track of that today. Was random and made my damn heart skip a beat. Then I was like hmm either it was peg or pipe. Sure enough pipe. Damn things aren't cheap, but you can't put a price on a bikes character.

Like I said, I normally ride it like I stole it. Bikes only a few months old so still trying to keep down the marks. Plus those pipe aren't cheap lol.

The first time I scraped my pipes it startled the crap out of me...I got on it coming into a curve...now it happens pretty regularly. I have not scraped anything on the left side...except when I laid it down on a wet road once..
