Default Question about bearings and axle grease

What is the best grease to use when going to install new bearings back in the bike and for both axles? I'm going to be putting my front and rear wheel on after they get back from powder and laced up. Thanks guys.

The bearings are sealed so no need for bearing grease. You can use a little assembly lube when you press in the bearings, but you shouldn't need it if you cold-soak the bearings in the freezer before install. For the axle, always use anti-seize!

For sealed bearings anti seize on the axel.

For tapered bearings grease and never anti seize

For me that is marine grade/boat trailer wheel bearing grease for even general shop use. Easy to find and not expensive.

I have tapered and bought "green grease" at the auto parts store. I use it in everything and I asked when I was doing my bearings and I was told it's very good and some indies only use it. It's cheap enough.
