Default WideGlide front end on a Superglide

Bought a 05 dyna Superglide that has a 41mm WideGlide front end on it they retained the 19" front mag with some spacers to fit. Like the looks but is the 21" better for handling. What is the advantage of a 21" front wheel other than looks?

I used to have an '05 SG with WG front end and the factory 19' front wheel. It was nice, sometimes I regret selling it.

21 wheel is easy to bend if you hit a good bump and seems to track the cracks, 19 is better

I have both, super glide, 19 inch front tire, and a wide glide 21 inch front tire. I like the 19 inch better.
You will be just fine with a 19 inch. Try it and if you don't like it change it to a 21 inch.

21" looks cooler (in my opinion), no other real advantage. Depends on what look you're going for. I think it handles just fine.
I'm running the stock '06+ 49mm midglide front end, but with Wide Glide length tubes.

I have an 02 Superglide and want to lose the narrowglide forks and go the same route. Looking to put the 41mm wideglide front end with a 16" rim & beefier tire and maybe a beefier front fender too. I just need to find someone who supplies the front end online. Anyone got any tips or suggestions? I'm not very good at figuring the rake/trail issues so an easy swap would be best for me.

Accutronix is a good place to start, I've been looking to go mid glide or wide for my 39mm... Had I not had the fork redone to my liking I'd go 49mm

Seems a 39mm front end with wide trees would look spindly…the old 41mm isn’t a much better design but suits the vintage look. It’s how front ends were done when there were only FL’s and XL’s. Some modern interpretations seem “odd” if you’ve been around when the style originated. Just saying; as an old man from the pre-Dyna days
