Default 2013 Wide Glide..is this normal?

I now have around 3000 miles on it since I bought it. It had 2100 when I bought it. It also had exhaust, Arlen Ness Big Sucker, stage1. When I pull out on my street I ease to the end of the street in 1st or 2nd around 1500-1800 rpms and it seems like it has a miss or skip. It runs good over 2000 rpms but I still feel like I can feel a little miss. Also it seems to have a lot of decel pop if I cut the throttle in 4th or lower and the hotter it gets the worse it gets.

Cutting out and/or missing is definitely not normal. Decel popping is. With less restrictive pipes, its just more noticeable. Installing a tuner can help lessen or eliminate decel popping, and may help your miss. Decel popping is unburnt fuel igniting in the hot pipes, so the hotter the pipes get, the more popping you have.

Hard to tell from your description but you might be lugging it at 1500-1800 rpms and that could be what you're feeling. As for the other, it would help to know what kind of tuner or fuel management you have, if any. It just could be running too lean.

It does not have a tuner. I bought it from the dealership and have done nothing to it. Been riding 20 years but this is my first Harley. I wanted to learn the bike as is and learn its sounds, how it feels, etc.. before making any changes.

Well I think it is time now....

I recommend calling Fuel Moto and they will get you what you need. Just remember you usually get what you pay for, so I would not go too cheap on a fuel tuner.

I think it is time. Will adding the Power Vision void the warranty?
