Got a Street Bob front wheel. Stripping it down and rebuilding with a 23" rim.

The bearing removal tool is a "must"!

First bearing out.

For reference on the rebuild.

Yeah, something along the lines of an FXRS-Sp or an FXDXT on a Wide Glide. Hardstreet saddlebags with a T-Sport fairing. Yep, an FXDWG S/S!

More work on the wheel.

Hub ready for clean-up and new rotor spacers.

First of the surplus parts.

Street Bob hubs will work with the Wide Glide front end? What years?

It will when I'm done with it!

I'm doing the dual disc set-up from the new Low Rider, so I needed the Sportster/Street Bob hub that is drilled on both sides. I will need to make spacers for the brake discs and then wheel spacers to center the wheel.

I got all my measurements for the brake spacers today, so I will try to machine those next week.

First time on the mill since shop class. So far, so good. Started with a square part and made a round part, so I'm happy!

Spacer #2, done with the mill work. Need to trim with the band saw, then it's time for the lathe work. Then countersinks, and tapping the holes.
