Hey all, just wondering what the best type of "slip-on" exhaust would be for my '14 SB FXDB? I don't want to put a full exhaust system on it just yet, as I don't have the money for it right now, so I was looking for the best slip-ons for a decent price. Thanks!

 

The best bang for the buck is cycle shack. You can find them on ebay for around $150. Check them out on youtube.

I put straight shot slip on on mine with the standard baffle. Its gota growl and bark but I like that. Like the appearance of pipes not mufflers that so many other types have.

Vance and Hines straight shot slip ons and pipes are a subjective thing. Im sure anything can be considered obnoxious if used inappropriately. I really bought them for that /my old school look. Alot of places have bike nights that is a good place go a see and listen to fellow riders and their bikes. If I had your blacked out bike im sure I would just start saving for a set of used black short shots everyone seems to buy them first they look and sound good and come for sale often second hand.

In my opinion they are loud enough..lol
