Default Help Choosing a seat - Dyna

I have a stock 2 up seat on my FXDC and want to go to a comfortable solo seat, I have been considering a few but would like some advice on comfort, so far I am considering

Saddleman 12" or 13" Wide Tattoo

Mustang Wide Tripper Diamond

Mustang Vintage

Danny Gray Weekday

Any recommendations would be great, looking for comfort mostly with style second choice, but don't want to go over the top so will sacrifice a little comfort for style.

So which seat would you recommend out of these 4 above, or can you suggest something else.

You need to actually try sitting on some.
We don't know how tall you are and if you have forwards installed.
I'm 5'8" with forwards and love my Danny Gray butt crack big seat that locks me in with good back support.

I don't own one but I follow these seat related posts extensively as I too am in the market. The Mustang Wide Vintage gets rave reviews from owners. When I get to buying a solo that would be at the top of the list.

I'm about 5'8" and use mid controls and highway pegs, I do not want to be moved forward at all as the distance is about right now.

I have considered the Buttcrack seat but it looked kinda hard.

I have sat on a couple of seats but found that time in the saddle is the only real way to tell.

I ended up with a nice gel foam leather solo seat that I bought from Sick Saddles.

Im 5'9", 190lbs and run mid controls with hwy pegs with my mustang vintage wide. I really like the seat, its narrower in the front than my sundowner which makes it a lot easier to walk the bike backwards. Taking your body weight and spreading it over a wider area really adds to the comfort. I have the backrest but personally don't notice any difference in comfort with or without it.

I bought the mustang wide tripper at Laconia when I was there. I got it with custom grey stitching, and it looks fantastic and is resonably comfy for a solo. Oh, and I am 5'7", with mids. It is definitely lower to the ground than my 2 up, but my 2 up is fugly...

Give C&C a look. Great seats at a great price.
