Default Rear spacer size for chain conversion on a 2011 FXDB?

Gonna be doing a chain conversion on my bike and wanted to know if anyone had done it already on a later year street bob? I have been piecing everything together and am gonna go with PBI sprockets and an EK chain, but I was told I will need a spacer for the rear sprocket to line up right. Anyone happen to know what size?

I haven't got all my parts in yet so I can't confirm this. I am still trying to find someone who has actually successfully converted to chain and see what size they used. What year is yours?

I got my answer from Hdf member Mud. I'm gonna run 24/53 sprocket for almost identical gearing as a 30/66 pulley mod I'm running now. Ek 530 chain, rear sprocket spacer 7/8" thk and I'm in the process of cnc machining a rear sprocket to match my 13 spoke wheel.

That seems kind of big in the rear as far as a spacer bro. Ive heard from a couple different companys that you wanna try and get most of the offset from the sprocket and not a spacer especially if that much space is needed. I guess it is easier for the bolts to back out when you use a spacer that big. Maybe look into a dish sprocket with a smaller spacer. Just what I have been told...

first of all ZIPPERS isn't going to "give" you that info its proprietary. You have to "buy" it from them.

using a 7/8" spacer + sprocket is still thinner than an oem fxdb pulley.
The oem 7/16 bolts are 2-5/8" long and ill be using an ARP 2" long bolt.

id go with real world vs "yeah this might work" information.
