Default passenger pillion 51404-10

Looking for opinions on the 51404-10 smooth passenger pillion for my 12 wide glide. As told before the stock is worthless. I pulled it of easily and had the 4 bumper pads for the stock one on fender. The seat appears to look decent and comfortable. Searching mainly brought up complaints about scratching fender but most were not wide glides. If you have this seat chime in as for its comfort and if I need to get more bumper pads or not. Don't want to fork out bunch for new seat yet as the stock seat is fine for me and after $350 for a custom seat for my sporty that I liked but wife didn't rather not go that route. Seems a good priced way to accommodate her and not spend too much. Thanks.

i just put it on mine. the girlfriend says its a lot better. its doesn't really make a difference to me, I think it looks fine so I don't plan on switching it back and forth. I pulled it off after we made it to laconia to fix some wiring I ripped out and didn't notice any scratches. the only thing I noticed was it was a bitch to get the seat on with that stupid strap so I just left that off

The dealer I go to stocks it so I plan to get it tomorrow. I am with you on not taking it on and off. I think it looks fine on bike and would have no reason to pull it off.

I have one on my SB that I take on and off but I have a mustang fender bib to protect the paint. The wife doesn't complain about it being uncomfortable either.

Got it today. Went for a nice little ride. Wife likes it. Once sissy bar gets here she will be able to really enjoy it. I am amazed at how comfy the stock rider seat is. My *** is loving it so far.

My wife seemed to like it, as in she never complained about it. I currently don't use it anymore, its just sitting on a shelf because I picked up a two up seat to use when she rides with me now.

I was just looking into getting one of these pillions. The wife doesn't like the stock one. It is cheaper than a 2up seat
