Default bike wont start

Hi! anyone have experienced this to your dyna? Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 pull on the clutch lever for it to start. I have adjusted my clutch to about 2 full turns.

clutch adjustment is not your problem,, check the safety switch in your clutch lever housing, your clutch lever has a detent/**** moulded in it too release the switch

As loopie stated the safety switch is probably bad and will need to be replaced. Since the bike is a 2013 it is still under warranty and I would let the dealer deal with it and make the repair.

I was at the dealer today and told them about the my bike. this guy was like, ahh!! its a common problem. sometimes the owner thinks that they pressed the clutch lever all the way against the bar but its not. and sometimes the gloves is pinched between the bar and the lever, that would cause for not starting.

I don't know if he is telling the truth. I think he just want to get rid of me and not fixing my bike.

Keep you guys posted.

I know I have to pull my lever back till it touches the grip, to get it start.. if I'm in gear... I usually don't start my bike in gear tho, so it doesn't cause me any headache.

Your bike is telling you to start it in neutral.
