Default saddle bags on a bob

i seriously need some storage space im starting to get tired of have lugging a back pack to carry my stuff to work or when i go to the store. now imo when got the bike my thoughts were it would throw the look of the bike off, but ive seen some street bobs with bags and it didnt look to terrable. I think i would want hard bags over soft other then trading up to a tourning bike which i wouldnt be to do finacally just yet , unless i went used. so anyone know where i can find pic or thoughts on bags on the bob. Ty

I was in the same position, worried about how it would look but got sick of using a backpack. I went with Viking saddlebags cheap but still have good reviews. I got the large hard shock cutout bags and they both have a lock on them. They were $240 shipped and came with a free universal turn signal relocation kit that I modified to work. Did have to buy longer bolts because of the detachable backrest which was about 4 bucks. Have had on a couple weeks and now issues so far and I don't think they look to bad.

those dont look bad, is there other options for relocating the signals. im not a fan of how ur lights and signals are placed (sorry) i dont get much at the store since i get a lil here and there to restock what i use but can a gallon of milk fit in those ? waterproof ? thinking maybe hard plastic then could get custom signls molded in

I have a Fat Bob not a Street Bob, but I have leather pros saddle bags that came with detachable mounts. They've grown on me over time - I only take them off when washing the bike or to re-apply Doc Bailey's. See my sig or go to my garage.

Oh, and they have locks...

did those come off a switchback. bags looks pretty good though but those dont look like it would hold much let alone a gallon of milk looks really narrow. and why do people put those huge lights and signals on the fender

Leatherpro's T-Sport bags (IMO) are the best looking bags on a street bob. I've got them on my bike and I LOVE them. Do a google image search for Leatherpro FXDXT bags. The quality is top notch, customer service is top notch, the bags have plenty of storage and even expand to fit more.

Do you have a newer bob with the chopped fender or do you have a full fender.
If Chopped look into the Great Bike Gear License Plate and signal relocation. Super clean look. Easy install, and again great customer service.
