Default Any reason NOT to get a fork brace?

I love my '14 Street Bob, but wondering is adding a Super Brace or similar would be good. I am not a canyon carver. My Bob seems fine. But also seems that more rigidity on my front end would be all good. Would appreciate any thoughts or experiences.

I have run fork braces on my bikes for years....Yes, they are well worth it.

Thanks, Greezey. Why do you think it worth it? What did it do for your riding style, etc?

It didn't change my riding style, I've ridden my bikes hard through the twisties ever since I put good shocks and a fork brace on my '79 FXE.
The fork brace just makes the bike more solid in curves at high speed and take a little bit of wiggle out of the front end....Makes the bike more "rideable".

There is no reason not to run one.

I believe all newer Dynas have a 49mm front fork and does not flex like the older 41mm. I had a high speed wobble and tried the fork brace and felt no difference in the ride. If anything, the best improvement came from the True Track, but they cost a bit.

True Track front and rear, Good Shocks (Meaning, nothing that comes from Harley) and a fork brace, and you will not believe how much better the bike handles.

I have a 2009 FXDC with the 49mm forks and I guarantee you they DO flex.

One of the very first things I did to the bike was to install a Superbrace fork brace and I found
an immediate improvement in the precision of "Turn in", the initial movement of the fork into a turn.
I later added a True-Track and that stabilized the bike but I rode for about a month with just the
brace so I had a pretty good opportunity to judge it on its own merits and the difference was there..
not night and day, but unmistakable. Cheap, easy to install and effective.. there's absolutely no
reason to NOT get one and every reason to do so.

I noticed on my sportster that the Fork suspension worked much better with the brace, meaning they absorb the bumps much better. plus they look good as well, and the primary reason I bought it was for the chrome fork covers, for $175 it ended up being a great mod.
