Default Laid my FXDC down, need some work done, looking for suggestions

Hey guys,

I laid my bike down a bit over a week ago and other than a broken wrist and a banged up knee, I'm doing okay. My 2012 FXDC is going to need some work, deciding whether I want to go through insurance or not. Amazingly after it caught onto something on the road and flipped once, the brunt of the damage was done to the tank and rear turn signals One of my shock mounts has a very slightly bend, and there are some scratches in my chrome pipes (about 2") and on my rear view mirrors. The tank, I believe can be repaired and painted. I'm looking for any recommendations to have my bike looked at and possibly repaired in the vicinity of Atlanta, GA.

Bottom line is I took my eye off of the road in front of me for a second, believing I couldn't have something happen from a dead stop to where I laid it down, having given myself at least five cars lengths behind the vehicle in front of me (I was sitting in some tree shade) at the railroad tracks. Don't think I'll ever look down when crossing tracks again! Thanks for the advice, I'm in Lawrenceville so I'll give them a shout!

If it flipped once, I'd be looking out for a tweaked frame. Good luck with the repairs and the healing.

Chances are HUGE that there's more wrong than you've noticed so far.
Get it professionally inspected.

Agree 100% there's a good chance of frame damage. Go through insurance it may be worse then it looks
