Default Do you have the Dyna that you want to have?

If you had it to do again, would you buy the same model Dyna? If you already like the one you have, what would be your second choice?

Yes , I have a 2007.
My humble opinion is this.
A couple years later they introduced a teardrop rear tail light. Then they started with the chopped rear fender. Not a fan of the "arrow style" air cleaner cover. Then the catalytic converter started going on these bikes. - When my motor/gearbox blows, I will just repair/replace.

just my 2 cents, Greg 07 fxdb

Yup. Always wanted a Fat Bob. Got one. If I did it again I'd get this bike. 2nd Dyna would be a FXDX-T.

Yep, but they didn't make the exact one I wanted which was a hybrid Street Bob/Fat Bob; Street Bob with a Fat Bob Front end and spoke wheels. I have the triple trees and front wheel sitting here and will probably install them this winter.

Have a 14 LR, but was torn between it and a Street Bob when I bought it. Need more road time on the SB to tell for sure if I would still go with the LR. But right now will stick with the LR.

I was away form riding for a while. When I was thinking of getting a new Harley in 04 I had no clue what was out there. So I got the first bike I liked how it looked at the dealer an FXDX. When I got it home it was a different story. I hated the stance (to high). I no longer liked the color. I even tried to bring it back and get another bike. They wouldn't take it back even after I said I didn't care if I lost a little money in the process. Well they would have if I came up with $4000.00 more. They gave me a great deal on mine but couldn't on this other one I liked.

So ten years later and many mods, I have it the way I wanted it to be in the first place. I will keep this bike. I get to ride all the new and older models Harley has, I work for a dealer now. None of them feels like mine.

97 wide glide here. Love it but really want a lower seat I feel like im on a dirt bike. Is that most dynas in general? Id like to sit on the newer wide glides to see how they feel. Then again that chopped fender is so..un wide glide.

My second choice would've been a Fat Bob but would've ended up spending a small fortune on chrome since I'm not a fan of the blacked out look.
