Just goes to show that every bum is different! I had a Mustang Vintage Solo on my last bike and couldn't handle it for longer than a week. The shape of the seat cut blood circulation down my left leg (felt like sciatica). I'm only 5'7" with a 32" waist so realized I guess I need a seat that hugs the bike a bit more or maybe more curved on the sides. The padding was awesome though.

I tried a bunch of different seats I bought off EBay and here before I settled on the Danny Gray Buttcrack Solo with VisoElastic.

C&C custom sport tour moved me back 1.5" and down 1" ..VERY comfortable compared to my stock Ultra seat.. It is really comfortable without the backrest, but with it on a long ride??? WOW!!

Well Mean City actually recommended the HD Tallboy seat as MC won't be able to move me back any, but I'd rather take a look at the other options... anyone know if there's a place you can go to actually see the different seats and maybe test them out?

I have a Mustang Wide Tripper seat and while I really like it, it dies have that same incline the stock seat does. My butt gets a tad numb on long ride, but I lived the style, color and fit

So I purchased a Wide Tripper Solo with backrest from someone here on the forum that should be here Friday. I was able to get it at a price to where if I don't like it, I can just resell it and get my money back. Unfortunately, I'm supposed to start painting my house this weekend, so not sure if I'll get to ride. I'll post up my thoughts as soon as I have some, though!

Good luck (with the painting and seat)!
