Like the title says, both plugs are jumpered with green wire. Why would this be done? I got the bike from a dealer so I don't know to much of the bikes history.
I have a Power Commander on my Ultra and part of using it, I had to bypass the O2 sensors w/resistors they provided.
Might have a fuel gizmo on your bike.
Ok so I pulled everything apart yesterday and didn't find a tuner. I did however find a LoJack box that retails for 600 bucks.
Is it possible to have had the OEM ecu reflashed or programed? The dude the owned this bike did many half assed things to her so I wouldn't doubt it if he bypassed the O2's just because or maybe he had a tuner and ripped it out when he traded the bike in.
It must have been flashed with some kind of tuner. I would ask the dealer you got it from to hook it up their analyzer and maybe they can tell you what kind of tuner was used. I doubt it would be the dealer download since I don't think they would jump the sensors.
I got it from some truck dealer that doesn't even deal with motorcycles. They said they took it in on trade. I knew more about the bike than they did. I guess I'll have to figure something out.
Unless somebody here chimes in with a better idea, I say take it to your local dealer. If there's more than one, find out which has a better rep for service.
Here in KY the dealer must provide you the name and address of the previous owner. I know I have been contacted twice about cars I had traded in. Most folks are just more than happy to tell you everything about the vehicle.
