Looking forward to getting a good tune on the bike. Like I said, most my riding is about 70% highway, usually cruising around 80-85...if traffic allows

I'm anxious to see how it performs once I get the tuner, drag pipes, and air cleaner installed.

I just got back yesterday from an 800 mile trip, across some foothills. The last fill up was at 172.9 miles and it took 3.72 gals to fill it. That's 46.48 mpg, fully loaded with full batwing fairing (radio/speakers), flh style saddlebags, an aftermarket tourpak, and a loaded cooler and I'm pushin' 195. It's an 07 SB with PCV, Ness A/C and V&H slipons.

I get 50 mpg on my 13 TC96 with K&N heavy breather, Superchips Vigilante program and stock mufflers.

Got 47 mpg on the 2000 mile ride to Sturgis and back at 75 to 80 mph.

Got 47 mpg on the 2000 mile ride to Sturgis and back at 75 to 80 mph loaded with camping gear.

I've got a 96" with SE Ventilator, Rinehart 2 into 1 and a SERT Tuner. If I've been riding locally a lot under fifty then when I fill up it will give a range number around 215 to 220. On trips when I'm doing over fifty a lot and then fill up it will give me a number around 235 to 245. 248 is the highest number I've gotten on a fill up (5 gallon tank). Generally when I figure my mileage it runs better than the range meter, most of the times mid 40's to low 50's. I don't have much stop and go and usually ride @ 2200 to 2600 Rpm.

Just returned from a 500 mile weekend trip, mixed freeway/backroad/town riding, 3 fill ups anywhere from 41 to 43 mpg on my 2014 low rider. that was riding double, about 320lb with my wife and I plus some gear for the weekend.
I like to gas it quite a bit to feel the torque of the 103 cid motor.this is after installing a FL-VIED 10on otherwise stock set up.

before getting bike tuned just using the wide band sensors with auto tune with the power vision average was 42 mpg riding 2up. now that it's been tuned and was told by tuner as it was on dyno there was alot of cells that were never even touched after 1000 miles with auto tune. 2 up riding averages 48-50 mpg now. rode yesterday fuel lite came on made it 25 more miles filled up 4.0 gallons on 202 miles.

The Specs say a Dyna gets 42 combined. So, it would be really interesting to get details from those getting close to 50 mpg!
Same for me. Mine is an '09 96" w/ SE Pro Super Tuner, V&H Short Shots and SE air cleaner- 23k miles and I guarantee almost every fill up I've ever had I've only averaged about 35 mpg tops! Had it on two different dynos with three different techs because I keep complaining about my low mpg and still no change. It runs like a scalded dog in any temp or condition but no matter what at almost exactly 135 miles EVERYTIME it will take right at 4 gallons. Had it going on six years now and I've never been able to get anyone to tell me why my mpg is so low!
