Default idle?

2013 wide glide..I was riding the other day and had been on the interstate for about 45 min, when I turned off and went into town and was stopping at a stop light the bike continued to idle at around 1700rpm. I let out on the clutch a little with the brake on to bog it down and then it stayed at the correct idle (950-1000). This has happened a couple of times. Any ideas on what this could be? It runs great and is currently using the Power Vision map given to me by Fuel Moto. Thanks

If it were a carb, I'd say the cable, linkage or throttle's sticking.

Spray a little air intake cleaner in the iacv port or check the iac steps in your tune. My sporty liked to do that but my Dyna never has. Spray did it for sporty. Also check your friction screw under throttle grip and loosen up a tad.

Mine does the same thing. Has for awhile. It goes down after a few seconds after being completely stopped. Doesn't worry me unless it gets worse.

I might suggest a little Lucas, Sea Foam or your favorite concoction... Mine seems to be prone to gum up in the injection department?

It's probably the IAC motor.
