Called Works on Tuesday the 25th and had my custom shocks delivered today the 30th - unbelievable!

Talked to Tim and gave him all the info like weight, riding style, type of bike, % of solo vs 2 up, etc and he told me it would be about 3 weeks to have it built and about another week for delivery - boy he beat that by a long shot

Anyway, will not be able to install until Tuesday, taking my wife out on a overnight in downtown Fort Worth tomorrow, so will have to wait a bit.

Install looks pretty straight forward, but if anybody wants to throw tips and lessons learned - I'm all ears.....and teeth!

Your gonna love them. He beat his shipping estimate by about a week with me as well. What length did you get. I have the 12.6" steel trackers and they are a night and day difference from any other shock I have ridden on.

 

Yeah forgot to give the specs on the shocks: 13" Black Trackers with Dual-rate springs set for my 185 lb body that rides 95% solo.

Nice looking shocks! Those are damn near a grand aren't they? I looked into jri but I think I am going to change to wider front rim/tire before suspension. Plus I am a poor union maintenance mechanic with kids.
