Sure, that would work. You will have the cam plate out already so will be an easy add on. If doing it yourself, you will need some extra tools, I like this place:

Do that plus pop in a set of Andrews 21 cams while in there and you'll thank me. That bike will totally wake up at all rpms, your gas mileage will suk, because you won't be able to keep your fist out of it!
Oh, btw, don't go stock. There are these new tensioner shoes that are supposed to live a very long time...Bula, or something like that; they're white, like nylon. Found out after putting in a stock set.

Currently, Dyna Lowrider 2005, Stage 1 = Big Shots Staggered and VO2 Vance, 141NX002 mapping.
If I ascend Andrews TW21 cams. We need to change or re-mapping only smartune?. I own the super tuner screamin 'eagle

I'm sure some remapping will be advantageous, but I didn't go that route, having the last carbed Harley from '05. The peak lift on these cams is a lot higher, but I didn't even have to rejet anything save raising the needle just one notch. It also surprises me when I let her wind up in WOT ------ believe me, she ain't weak at ALL up top either, as I thought it would be.
I put the Boyesen X-Wing in front of the carb and gained a bit of mileage, and a bit snappier response. Did the football mod, then equalized the airflow with a DIY birdcage, made from a Wally World camping mess kit bowl, mapped out holes and drilled it out, and it polishes up surprisingly nice. Wish I had a better pic, but they're on my old 'pooter. Amazingly, the camping pot fit both the football center plate, AND just slips over the air filter perfectly!

I played with different baffles for back pressure and did okay, chopping, plugging, reinventing...until I found these Patriot Defenders with a gate and cable...(oh, the memories!). At half gate they sound like a raceboat, but aren't obnoxious either. The gate doesn't make as much difference in torque as I'd expected, but it's pretty cool for $279.00 on a sale! About $345 now.

CYCO makes new tensioner shoes that are white and supposed to last a real long time. I did a set over the winter....I am gonna pop the cover off after the riding season to see how well or bad they have worn.

CYCO sounds familiar; may well be what I saw. Post on it next inspection.
