Big City Thunder Original Monster Baffles for V&H Big Radius 2-2
SOLD, PENDING PAYMENT
I have a set of Big City Thunder Original Monster Baffles for sale. I installed them last week, and they just aren't for me. I have only put about 100 miles on them, so they are clean. No rust, residue, etc.
Big City Thunder's part number is 2002. They are supposed to fit all V&H Big Radius 2 into 2 pipes.
$65 shipped via USPS Priority Mail. PM if interested.

To be honest, they are just louder than I wanted. I bought them on a whim because people seem to rave about them. I'm glad I tried them - they're great if that's the sound you want... they just aren't for me.
When I say "loud"... I should clarify, they aren't a high-frequency sort of loud... they are deeper and more rumblier than the stock baffles.

The stock baffles are held in by a screw - just use an allen wrench to remove it, and the stock baffles will slide right out. You will have to remove the heat shields to get to the screw. This can be done without removing the pipes from the bike, but be careful not to bend the hose clamps that hold the heat shields in place.
Thunder City recommends placing the Monster Baffles 6" into the pipe. You have to drill a 1/4" hole in your pipe (only the pipe - not the heat shields), then secure the Monster Baffles with a screw there. Thunder City says you do not have to remove the pipes from your bike before drilling the hole.
You don't need any fancy drill or special bits.. I was able to get it done with a cheap rechargeable Skill drill and some ordinary bits.
You leave the stock baffles out.
I'm not a mechanic by any means. This is all new to me, but I had no problem at all installing these baffles. If I can do it, anyone can.
