Spare Maxi Fuse

Greetings...This is my first post/question.....

Can we purchasea spareMaxi Fuse at an auto parts store, or is it a dealer item only? It appears to be just a big @$$ed 40 amp fuse? I want to get an extra one or two in case I do some bonehead maneuver whilst working on it,or it blows on its own a million miles from a spare one. Thanks in advance for any information!!!

I just replaced my 30 amp main breaker on my'85 evo...thought the same about an auto parts house. The only thing Inoticed was the auto parts 30 amp had two eye hooks for mounting. Mine snapped into a harness. Other than that, no difference

its the same as a automotive maxi-fuse i keep a spare also
