Default 2005 RG Turn Signals

Got a glitch. Right turn signals work fine, left turn signals don't. Both bulbs meter out ok. 4 way flashers work when both signal switches are closed. Also, when I turn the bike on, the right signal blinks 5 times...$%#@???? Any ideas? I am assuming the left signal switch is good since I can activate the 4 way flashers, just nothing on the left.

Check for diagnostic codes. You're liable to turn up codes for TSM or TSSM module

Either did I, I thought it was a 61161 at first. A couple other threads here have identified the code.

ok first thing I'd do then is remove the bulbs themselves. Look inside the connectors for corrosion and clean any you find. Use a dab of dielectric grease on each bulb as you're putting them back in to keep moisture out of the housings.

check the wiring at each bulb connection to make sure good contact is being made and you don't have a wire loose. The old wiggle test as it's happening might reveal the source of your issue. Also wiggle test the wiring at the TSM
