Default Left Turn signal not right

Guys, I hope you can help. I have a 2000 FLHTC, and when the bike is running and moving, the left turn works intermittently--bulbs all work.

But, when the bike is not moving, the Left turn works as it should--whether the engine is running or not running. I can move the handlebars, and there is no affect (they keep working).

thoughts?

I would start by replacing the bulb, I have seen broken filaments that touched but with vibrations did not work.

Both bulbs blink.

I can change the bulbs a see what happens, but I figured they were ok because even the vibration of the bike running they still worked. I thought maybe the TSM????

Check the connector on the TSM, make sure there are no pins that are pushed back into the connector (the violet wire is the left turn signal).

If that is ok, you might want to get inside the fairing and check the connectors, and also see if you can duplicate the problem by moving the harnesses around.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

Well, I checked the bulbs and the connections (both in the fairing, and at the TSM). No change. I replaced the turn signal switch, and also checked the wires where they go through the dimple under the clutch perch on the handle bars, just in case one might be pinched--no change.

I guess the only thing left is the TSM????
