I posted about this over in the touring section, but haven't been able to get an answer -

I've been doing some research on installing the security module on my '12 FLHX that did not come with it.

I found a security module take-off and some key fobs that I've bought, and I have a couple of questions about the install.

Is it OK to use a used module? I'm concerned that there might be something already programed with it that will cause a problem when installing it on a different bike.

Also, will the "learing" procedure reset my ECM? The bike has been tuned, and I obviously don't want to lose that...
