New here and might confuse people lol. So i swapped my oem 2011 rear fender for a 2014 street bob fender with out the brake light. I want to use my turn signals as run/stop and turn. Question is, before i swapped the fender the turn signals did all 3 functions. Now they only run and blink with turn. No brake light. Do i need an stt mudule or is there another way to do this? The wires that were plugged in to the old brake light arent plugged into anything now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

 

By unplugging the harness from the main brake light you broke the brake light circuit.



I'm not sure but you could try jumping wire 2 (R/Y) to wire 3 (O/W) on the taillamp connector. Use the above image for reference.

Did the 2014 harness work or did you have to jump the wires?

also was the fender a direct swap or did you have to modify it?

I cracked my second fender and am done with the stupid tailight.

 

Used the stock harness, the brake switch in the handle bar housing was stuck as to why my brake lights werent working. The 14 fender was a direct bolt on swap. I used the extra wires in the harness from the stock tail light for a side mount license plate light.
