Default 2006 tail light mistery

2006 fatboy/ softail tail light issue

Decided to convert a 2006 softail tail light to a 1955 oldsmobile tail light using the same workings from the stock 2006 light set up.
Got it all hooked up and on the bike now when I hit either left or right turn signal the tail light, right and left blinkers all blink at once.
I've cleaned all contacts thoroughly and re-installed the 2006 assembly still the same problem. What did I screw up?
Need help. (Front turn signals work fine still)

Sounds like you tied the turns together, or have them pluged in wrong. How did you ground it.
Can you get some photos of the wiring?
Did you leave the junction box or cut and splice?

Whew man I just put it all back together. In the end it's still the same.

You say ground what ground ?

I saw no actual ground wire for the assembly.

It's wired exactly the same I didn't change anything I just made a bracket out of aluminum to mount the plug in connector.

Tc have a black ground wire that goes to each electronical part, your car light is grounded to the car at the mounting point. If you are not getting a good ground strange things happen.
Doubt that this is the problem, but I would check to make sure.
Can you get us some photos so we get a better idea of what you did?

While you have it off see if the turn work normal, then unplug the tail and try.

Your wiring is clean enough.
The light should work even off the fender, you have probably blown a fuse due to a short/pinned wire.
Check your light fuse, accessories fuse.
