Cruise control not working

Default Cruise control not working

09 SG. switch lights up. indicator on guage is yellow/orange... will not set by sliding switch to the right... help

Check and make sure your brake lights are functioning properly. If one of the brake light switches is malfunctioning it will render the cruise control inoperative.

Did you for any reason mess with the grip on the brake lever side it does not take much to cause the switch to malfunction.

Check rear brake light switch.

Havent done anything to grips... where would i check the brake light switch at?

Try here if you don't think it is the one in the handlebar. Your year of flhx was recalled for excessive heat frying these. Should be info also in your service manual.

Default Cruise control not working

Just in case anybody is curious. I bought a brake ligjt switch.. approx. 23.00. Replaced and all is well. Brake light works and cruise is working.
