Question Tssm help

Ok here is the problem TSSM (little red key) light flashes when the key is off.

Turn signals do not turn themselves off after turning, everything else operates just fine including the alarm.

Looked up the part number on a new TSSM and it says I need a 68924-00 and when I checked the one on the bike its a 68922-00 is there different ones that will work on this 2001 ultra classic with alarm and push button keyfob?

And before anyone asks I have done all the checks for codes and resetting etc etc. and it still flashes.

All help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Tim Sr.

The light is supposed to flash if the alarm is set. Are you saying the light flashes when the alarm is not set?

I'm not sure where you looked up the part numbers but all bikes without security have a TSM, a TSSM is for bikes manufactured for the Japanese and Korean markets. A HFSM is what is in bikes manufactured for the North American markets. HFSM is often mentioned by users as a TSSM. They're basically the same but just for different markets. I will refer to the TSSM/HFSM as a "Module" going forward.

68924-00D (Part of kit 68719-01D) is the module for international markets, except for Japan.
68922-00D (Part of kit 68200-00D) is the module for North American markets.

You can see this information and more in the Security System Kits Instruction PDF:

Kit 68200-00D on the Harley-Davidson Website:

Thanks for the help I have one coming I also found out :

HFSM is Hands Free Security Module (newer bikes with Proximity fobs)

TSSM is Turn Signal Security Module (older bikes with pushbutton fobs)
