Does anyone know where the connector on the longer wire is? I am guessing probably under the tank, but if I can avoid taking the tank off, that would be nice.

 

Well, I had some time so I pulled things apart. The wire runs under the tank, zip tied in with everything else (had to lift the tank to free the wire). The actual connection is under the seat.
