Default Testing Regulator - Sticky Update

I have another thread in this section about a bad regulator. I couldn't resolve the problem so I took the bike to my local indy. He went through the bike then decided to check the regulators on some other bikes that were in his shop to see if they leaked voltage back to the stator plug on the regulator. Yep, they all did. So I have two good regulators on my work bench.
Moderator, you may want to recheck that test instructions for regulators in the sticky of this section.
"Some" regulators may prove out that way, but this regulator for my 06RG doesn't. Using a volt ohm meter and testing voltage flow from the regulator output to the stator input will so a closed circuit. Apparently the rectifying process isn't with the old bridge rectifier.
