softail slim license plate

2013 slim that I installed a license plate relocation to the axle. now I have to address the left rear turn signal stalk. what do you guys do with the turn signal, cut off the plate holder? thanks in advance

I'm having axle mount plate holder put on this winter. You can get a new replacement stalk once you remove the stock plate holder. If I remember I will get a part number if you want?
