Default 2005 ultra

I have a 2005 ultra classic that a 6 speed gear set has just been installed,gear set is a rivera primo and now my odometer adds mileage 1 tenth of a mile adds about 1 mile, speedo has been calibrated, any ideas whats going on?

What did you use to calibrate the speedometer? Did you intercept the signal out of the speed sensor before it hit the ECM and went onto the J1850 line or do you have something else? Also check that the unit is for the correct year. If all else fails, shoot Mark from Baker a note.

Ed, I used a Dakota Digital speedometer calibrator connected between speed sensor and ECM, I also checked part # of gear set and yes it is for a FLHT type trans, year correct. So I will try to contact Mark from Baker and see if maybe he can give some help or advice. Thank you

Hi TJ, I was thinking more the calibrator was for the correct year but sounds like you checked what you could. Did you call DD to ask them if they have seen this?
