Default Fat Bob Main Harness.

I have a 14 Fat Bob and it seems that mice have chewed up some of the wiring inside the left side cover where the ECM and BCM are located. Looking at the attached photo you can see that the plug that connects to the BCM has the insulation chewed through exposing bare copper on about 3 wires. The second plug which I am guessing plugs into the ECM has about 4 wires with exposed copper. I repaired the chewed insulation on each plug and tightly taped each bundle. The bike runs fine, everything works and no trouble codes. My question is, does anyone know for sure if the ENTIRE wiring harness needs replacing or does the harness have modules or sections where the front and rear are two separate harnesses and the main is the third. One dealer is telling me that there is only one harness and the ENTIRE harness needs replacing and wants to charge me 2k in labor and 460 for the harness. Another dealer tells me that there are 3 sections to the entire harness and just the main harness needs replacing and will charge me 5 hrs labor plus parts. Who is correct? 5 to 20 hrs labor is a big difference.
