My 2014 Low Rider has aux driving lights (HD Aux Lighting Kit 68605-08A) that were installed as per this diagram:


I would like to re-wire this setup for a couple of reasons. The most important being that I'm installing a Power Vision tuner and need access to the diagnostic port that this lighting install used for the aux lights. Secondary to this, I would not be unhappy if the lights would operate with both high and low beams instead of the current low beam only.

Is there a way to power an accessory not using the diagnostic port, that will not cause Canbus errors, and allows for ignition switched power?

You might have to cut the connector off your lighting harness and use the butt splices?

I used mine to connect non CanBus compatible auxiliary lights. Works perfectly.
