09 Nightster electrical issue

Hi I just changed my battery with a new AGM from the auto store and when I hook the negative and positive terminals up the turn signals light up solid and my headlight comes and and nothing will crank or do anything at all. Please help

Are you sure you hooked up the polarity correct?
