Default LED run & brake

I want to install a fender running and brake on a 2016 softail slim- twice now the led have stopped working, are they just junk lights or is there something with the bikes wiring that is causing the problem?

There is no easy way to answer your question. The market is certainly flooded with LEDs of every shape and size, many of which are likely to be suspect. I also have been disappointed with poor quality LEDs and no longer buy them unless they have a well known brand name, who is likely to back up their product.
