I was out for a ride yesterday and my 2005 electra glide classic shut down - losing all power (ignition, lights, radio, gauges). I have a new battery, tight battery cables with no-ox, etc. I suspect something blew my 40A fuse. However, i don't have wiring schematic; can someone point me to the right main fuse location? I've removed both side panels and thought it would be located next to the fuse panel, to no avail. If I'm correct and can replace the fuse, I'm cautiously might be able to ride it to my local Harley shop.

Update: upon further investigation, the cable/fuse assembly that attaches to the front of the fuse box had vibrated loose and fell down onto my drive belt, which rubbed through the cable insulation and caused a short. It is now being doctored at the Harley shop.

 

For future reference:

40 amp maxi fuse is located under the left side cover (see attachment).
