Default Aux switch .....need help

I wired LEDs and ran a wire to the aux plug under the seat. I purchased a connector at my local harley dealership because the plug was used by something else. I also bought a Deutch plug and connected my led wire to it in channel 1 and 4. I looked at the Aux wire and orange wire is in channel 1 and black wire is in 4. The LEDs light, however do not turn off with the Aux switch. Any advise?

Get a multi-meter and check the leads. When I wired into the aux, I discovered one of the leads was tied to the brake relay and would only shut off when the brake was pressed. You may want to hit the brake and see if the lights go out.

Regardless, use the multi-meter and check the other leads with the switch. You'll see which leads are switched.
