it won't even turn over. battery is charged, new battery last year, lights working...

 

Check the run/stop switch on the bars

 

Any voltage to the starter?? Sounds like maybe no.

Check the starter relay. If that's OK look at the ignition switch.

 

check ya solenoid..i had to put a spike button on mine..
