Volt meter / fuse blowing question?
Hello, I have a 2006 Ultra Classic that I built into a DFT Trike. In the middle of a cross country trip, the volt meter pinned all the way, the instrument fuse blew, I lost my odometer, brake and head lights went out. I disconnected the volt meter and got a couple things back (head light, brake lights). Any suggestions where to start? Thanks, Joe

Just to make sure, the brake light quit working? Or was it the tail light?
Did you replace the fuse?
Headlights, brake lights, instruments are all on different circuits....
Is the wiring on the bike modified?

Front stoplight switch was bad, fixed that. Headlight OK, fuses OK, everything seems good while the volt meter is disconnected. When I plug it in, it pins all the way up.

Yes, the rear end wiring is modified with LED's for the trike kit.
