Hello all. I have a 2011 FLHX that just rolled 22,000 miles. I have had very little problems with the bike and have overall been very impressed with it in the 3 years I've owned it. Anyways, today as I was on my way to work, after a long straight run with the cruise set, I turned off to the gas station and looked down and noticed my Left turn signal light was solid, and my security light was also solid. I shut the bike off, fueled up, and turned it back on. Same problem. Left signal would not function alone, or with the 4 ways. Security light still illuminated. My bike is not equipped with a security option, and this has me pretty confused.

I looked in my Owners manual but couldn't find anything on the turn light being solid, and also since I don't have a security system, I was confused as to why that was illuminated as well.

I started the bike back up as I had to be to work and didn't have time to turn around and what do ya know... The lights were off and I had signal's again.

Does anybody have any idea?!

Rode the bike home from work, and back to work again without any incident. Still makes me worry..

 

Happened again the other night when caught in the rain. Also lost my low beam headlight now. The security and turn signal light are off again but it seems to be a recurring problem.
