I have a front running light out, turn signal still works. Read that a 1157 bulb should work as replacement. When installed fuel gage went to zero and the lo range displayed, low fuel icon flashing. Put original bulb back in and the fuel stuff went back to normal, but the light's still burnt out. Any ideas? Gotta use a Harley bulb?

 

Added a bit of bulb grease, wiggled the bulb a bit and all fine in the world again.
