Default 14' SG Error Codes: P-2122 and P-2138

2014 Street Glide
5,000 Miles

My mechanic has re-wired everything in my 14in bars. Throttle By Wire and Sensors all replaced. Wiring for everything is perfect. No pinches. Zip ties. Everything has been done perfect. The check engine light is not on but we are still getting the error codes:

P-2122
P-2138

Neither of the codes can be cleared. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

They are both TGS errors. There is a problem with the throttle by wire. Most likely inside the handlebars, since that was the last place you were working.

Better open it up again and look at it carefully.

Default Problem Solved

As you all know, these codes are all over every forum. The codes are what they are and mean what they mean yet no one seems to be able to solve the problem. Here's what I know, my problem has been solved. Again, my mechanic did re-wire everything and replaced the TBW with the Screamin Eagle TBW. And after all that, still was not able to clear the codes. The problem, ultimately after the initial problem was solved, remained in clearing thes code and avoiding the dreaded "limp mode" again or code P-1510. And after numerous phone calls to both dealers and friends in the business, my mechanic explained to me that the answer to that final problem was found deep within my ECM. And if that doesn't help anyone who finds this post I give you one of the smartest and most talented Harley mechanics on the planet.

This man is the real deal with a shop to back up his talented reputation. From a complete dyno booth and the talent to produce "real" results to at least 4 motorcycle lifts. All well organized, clean, and 100% legit. Just glad I found him when I did. Has my '14 103 running extremely well. That's all. Good luck.

Harley Davidson Street Glide FLHXS 2018
After change the handlebar i had the problem check engine light was on. i get the error codes P1510; P2122; P2130. It was impossible to clear the codes.
Throttle By Wire and Sensors is the problem. by the connector under the front cover it was one pin slide back. After i see this problem and removed the pin back in the connector the problem was gone.
then i cleared the codes in the ECM.
The test drive was successful and the cruise control worked fine.
