How far left would you like?! I have a 585 in my S&S 107" Evo which gives 100TQ at 3k rpm, but will pull top gear down to 1,500rpm on a light throttle. Very smooth and torquey. Also gives good results in a low compression S&S 124" TC!

You thinking of changing out the 57h already? The more we get the more we want! LOL My s and s cams lifters and pushrods will be here tomorrow, installed by the 20th or so. In the meantime im reading up on headwork and 107 upgrade, although that wont happen until next winter probably. Seen some nice #s from a couple guys on here with those 585 , all you need is a little comp. bump maybe?

Yeah I'm crazy. Also thinking of going larger.
Kind of torn between that and building one with an evolution cuz they sound so much more like a Harley.

yes you are. Best sounding bikes ive heard on the forum are target64,and another hillside build thats a 117. But an older bike would be cool to build. Im not game to put any more money into mine more than 107 bore, and headwork. I have a 1948 servi-car thats in pieces and a 67 elco to tinker on. TOO MANY PROJECTS, NOT ENOUGH TIME OR MONEY. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR MISSION.

With the compression optimized at 10.7 or so, it should start to pull good about 2300-2400 from what we've seen.
A larger engine would bring it on sooner, BUT, a Wood 8, will hit sooner, and make about the same out the back door.
